Project Title: Multidimensional Visualization of Marine Phenomena for Fisheries Using Satellite Data
Project Overview: This project aims to develop a system that provides multidimensional visualizations of marine environmental conditions, utilizing high-precision coastal satellite data. By leveraging data from meteorological satellites such as Himawari, we enable fishermen to accurately assess daily sea conditions and make informed decisions regarding fishing operations and aquaculture.
Key features of the system include
- Construction of a meteorological satellite data infrastructure: Establishing a foundation for collecting and analyzing satellite data to provide accurate sea condition forecasts.
- Sea surface temperature visualization: Visualizing sea surface temperature data to support decision-making in fishing ground selection and aquaculture operations.
- Current visualization: Visualizing tidal currents and changes in currents to assist in net casting and aquaculture facility management.
- Mobile compatibility: Enabling fishermen to access necessary marine data on mobile devices for real-time information.
- Red tide forecasting: Utilizing satellite data to forecast red tides and establish a system for early warning to minimize damage to aquaculture.
